Jake Toth is an American multi-instrumentalist, composer, and field recording artist based in Denver, Colorado.

The songs that eventually became Wallkill River Blues started to take shape, as Toth states,  “once I was in Colorado, wandering the city, hiking the mountains, fishing for trout. They are, in a sense, reflections of my time living in the Hudson Valley of New York. Reflections of my childhood. Reflections of adulthood. Reflections of a time that is no more”.
